Our Commitment to Safety

At Grace Girls Academy the safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We have implemented a number of policies and procedures to ensure that our school is a safe and a nurturing environment where students can learn and grow. From security measures to emergency preparedness plans, we are committed to providing a safe and secure environment for your child.

The physical address of our academy is not printed on our website, documents, brochures, or social media. Our address will only be given privately to the parents whose children have been accepted in to the academy.

There are three easy to access doors around our academy in case of a fire, an attacker, a stranger on the property, or any other unexpected incident.

On the property we have a fire distinguisher, fire alarm, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector. The police department is in close proximity and have a list of people close by that can assist us in an emergency.

Any planned field trips will be with the students' parents as escorts. Every student will be transported to and from the event with their parents. Parents will be able to be present with their child at all times during the event. This is a safety precaution when traveling in large groups.

Parents who forget to come or have missed their pickup time will be called and reminded.

The students can only be picked up by those listed on the pickup contacts form signed by their parent/parents. If someone is coming for the first time to pick up a student, we will request to see ID first to make sure that the person picking up has been given parental permission.

Dress Code

At Grace Girls Academy, we believe that the dress code helps to promote a sense of confidence and self-worth among students, as well as to keep the focus on learning. Our dress code is designed to be simple, affordable, and easy to maintain. Please take a moment to read our academy dress code, so you know what is appropriate for your child/children to wear.

We do not require students to wear a uniform to our academy, but we request that they be modest and wear appropriate attire. For more information, please review our school handbook.

Holidays and Absences

At Grace Girls Academy, we understand that family vacations and other events may require your child to miss school from time to time. We ask that you notify us in advance of any planned absences or sick days. We do keep track of their class participation and attendance record. If there are any concerns with our class schedule, please discuss it with the principal. She will assist you in resolving any attendance issues and come up with a plan that works for everyone.
