Bible-Based Curriculum

Our Christian Academy focuses on training students to excel in the classroom and in life by teaching them Christian values, character, integrity, honor, and respect. Our classroom schedule consists of art projects, Jesus story time, worship and praise, Bible lessons, scripture memorization, math games and course work, stretching exercises, English, spelling, grammar, phonics, reading, manuscript handwriting, science coursework and experiments, history, geography, social studies, government, communication and listening skills games and health class. We try to make every class fun and interactive.

We do a lot of hands on learning techniques. Our classes are not computer based. We teach the old fashioned way with books, writing utensils, verbal communication, and paper.

Manuscript Handwriting Practice

Sixth Afternoon Class

English, Spelling, Reading, Phonics, Word Games, and Coursework.

Story-Time

We put out cozy blankets and have the students sit around the teacher to listen to a new story being read.

3:15-3:30pm

Seventh Afternoon Class

History, Geography, or Government. The teacher shares the history story, answers questions, and then helps the students with their coursework.

3:30-3:50pm

Eighth Afternoon Class

The teacher chooses a subject to discuss while waiting for the students to be picked up. Topics of discussion will be on Politeness, Respect, Compassion, Integrity, Good Behavior vs Bad Behavior, Self-Control, Taking Responsibility for their Actions, Honoring Parents, Showing Appreciation, Healthy Eating Habits, Importance of Exercise, & Cleanliness

3:50-4:15pm

End of School Day

Class ends at 4pm Monday through Thursday. Students will be picked up by their parents or dropped off at their home.
