  • When does school start?
Our academy is all year-around. We are always accepting new student registrations throughout the school year. The new school year will start on July 24, 2025. Classes are Monday through Thursday 1pm to 4pm. We will continue to accept students until the 5 spots available are filled.
  • Will there be an Open House to view the academy?
Yes! We will be meeting with parents and new students from July 15th to the 23rd. If you're interested in attending our Parent & Teacher Meetings please reach out to our principal on her cell at (928) 978-0729. You will be given the opportunity learn more about our teachers, the curriculum, the class schedule, and to ask any questions you may have. You will also be given the student registration forms and academy handbook. All families will be invited to visit our Christian-Based Academy at a time that works best for their schedule.
  • How much do the meals cost?
The healthy snacks we serve during our academy hours are fully covered through the tuition fees although donations are appreciated. We do have the academy meal plan available to view on our academy blog. We use all natural organic ingredients as much as is possible for our meal plan. We have a list of all the students' food allergies in the kitchen. For any parents that prefer to bring their child's snacks from home, please put their name on the outside of their lunch box.
  • What classes are being taught?
All our academy subjects are Bible-based. We are teaching from the Alpha & Omega Christian Based Lifepac Curriculum for all our academy students. Our classroom subjects consist of art projects, Jesus story time, worship and praise, bible lessons, scripture memorization, math games, math course work, fun interactive children's exercise videos, English, spelling, grammar, phonics, reading, manuscript handwriting, science coursework and experiments, physical stretching and movement, history, geography, social studies, government, communication, listening skills games, and health class (cooking class). We try to make every class fun and interactive. We do a lot of hands on learning techniques. Our classes are not computer based. We teach the old fashioned way with books, writing utensils, and verbal communication.
  • How many students will be in each class?
We will have a total of 4-6 students in our academy with two teachers, so there will be a lot of one-on-one instruction. The students that need more instruction will be given the quality individual training needed to stay on schedule with the class.
  • How will we know our child's progress?
The work done in the classrooms will be graded. The report card of their overall grades for all subjects will be sent home to the parent/parents every quarter. Any tests done in the classroom will also be copied and sent home to the student's parent/parents, so they can easily evaluate their child's level of knowledge. The student's best art pieces will be compiled in a book and sent home at the end of the year.
  • What payment options are there for out of pocket student monthly tuition?

  • What made you decide to start this academy?
Personal Testimony: I ended up raising all five of my children alone after my divorce. I attended the community college in Payson and graduated with my Associates degree. My daughters wanted so desperately to be homeschooled. I wanted to do everything correctly, so I went to the Arizona Department of Education in Phoenix and requested the licensing needed to homeschool my daughters. They told me to take the Arizona teacher's exam. I took the exam and passed. Since I had my teaching license, I focused on helping my daughter who was struggling in the public school. The middle school had placed her in the learning disabilities classes for special ed. students, because she was having a hard time staying ahead in all her classes. She was a really good student with a passion for learning, so I homeschooled her during the summer. When she started back at the public school, they were greatly impressed by her improvements. She was taken out of special ed classes and placed in honors classes in high school. It is so exciting to watch children's faces light up with excitement as they learn new skills, move up to higher levels in their education, and reach new goals. It is an honor to inspire, to teach, to encourage, to uplift, and to challenge my students to reach new educational heights. I let my students learn at their own pace and move up to higher levels in their education. If a first grader is showing they are ready for third grade math, then I will encourage those skills and give them the school supplies they need to succeed. If a second grader is reading at a fourth grade level, then I will keep encouraging them to challenge themselves and work their way up. A student should have every opportunity to better themselves and reach new heights. I give them the opportunity to learn, grow, and advance.
  • What are the payment plans?
Parents can choose to pay monthly, quarterly, every six months, or yearly. This tuition is per student. I have discounted my prices from my original monthly tuition of $450 per child. For all new students, they will receive the discounted tuition. Monthly Payment Plans are $400 Quarterly Payment Plans are $1,200 6-Month Payment Plan would be $2,400 Yearly Payment Plan would be $4,800
